What is ITEC?
A nonprofit, collaborative partnership between community, business, education, and government, ITEC's mission is to increase technology skills of Lansing area children and adults so as to better prepare them to participate in a fast-paced, global IT-based economy.
How Can I get Involved?

Funding Opportunities
The funding opportunities listed below are targeted at Lansing-area academic institutions that may want to conduct research at the ITEC-Lansing facility or otherwise coordinated with ITEC's operation. For more on how to partner with ITEC on research project, please contact Kirk Riley.
Tax-exempt status
As a startup non-profit corporation, ITEC-Lansing deeply appreciates donor support for its operations. ITEC's application for Federal tax exempt status is pending. Until tax exemption is granted, donations to ITEC do not serve as tax deductions under IRS guidelines. Individuals or corporations interested in contributing to ITEC's success can donate directly to ITEC (without the tax exemption), or can make tax-deductible contributions to the Prima Civitas Foundation, earmarking their contributions for ITEC-Lansing operations. When the Federal IRS grants 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status to ITEC, donations directly made to ITEC will qualify as tax deductions under current Federal guidelines.
