Activities and resources will include the following:

Science Learning: online projects through Web sites such as ThinkQuest.org.

Technology and Engineering: LEGO robotics to teach problem solving and critical thinking skills needed for engineering.

Math: computer based simulations and applications such as Math Forum's Math Tools, the NCTM (National Council of Teachers and Mathematics) Illuminations, National Library of Virtual Manipulative for Interactive Mathematics.

Writing and Literacy: unique programs that focus on technical and scientific writing that integrate with a variety of mediated communications.

Capital Area Community Media Center: public access television, new media and web-based development, and written expression.

Computer Labs: a variety of classes and workshops, including computer maintenance and repair.

University Outreach: faculty and students from Michigan State University, including the Office of Outreach and Engagement, will partner with ITEC-Lansing and community and youth organizations.

Lab Space: multi-disciplinary research that investigates how kids use technology to learn and best practices for teaching with technology.
