Join us as students launch into space, learn robotics, get help with their math and science homework, prepare for college, and train as tomorrow’s scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs. The TechTransport bus is designed with the aim of bringing technology to Lansing-area residents with limited access to home computers and the internet. ITEC expects to serve 2,500 individuals in the greater Capital region annually through TechTransport programs. The TechTransport provides:
- A mobile teaching platform to expand ITEC’s reach in the Lansing community in its robotics, digital media, game design, animation programming, web development, app development, 3-D printing, virtual reality and Minecraft modifcation classes.
- Everyday Digital classes in basic computer literacy for high schoolers and adults
- Financial Literacy workshops, in partnership with MSUFCU
- College readiness workshops, in partnership with the Capital College Access Network
- After-school tutoring programs in Math and Science
- GED Prep
- Entrepreneurship classes
- Field trips

Dean Transportation is providing the renovations to the 40-foot motor coach and equipping it with the power supply, storage space, wireless access and physical space for programs.
