This is an unpaid/volunteer position.
Duties:
- Assist in teaching STEM-based curriculum, including Lego Robotics, Game Design, Scratch, and Mobile App Design
- Build confidence in girls with the using of technology and pursuing careers in traditionally male-dominated fields
- Mentor girls in collaborative activities
- Help lead instructors with general classroom management
- Distribute pre and post surveys
- Take classroom attendance
Qualifications:
- Educational background in science, technology, engineering, or math
- Experience working with children
- Have an enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to work in partnership with a team
- Willing to learn new, innovative content
